Selective Service Registration
Texas Government Code §651.005 requires state agencies to ensure that male applicants, ages 18 through 25, who are required to register with the Selective Service System provide proof of their registration or an exemption as a condition of employment. TFC cannot hire a person if they do not present proof of their Selective Service registration or exemption.
Proof of Work Eligibility - E-Verify
TFC is committed to complying with federal laws concerning verification of employment eligibility and record keeping for employees. To ensure compliance, employees are required to complete federal form I- 9 within three business days of hire.
The Commission uses E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility. Information from each new employee's Form I-9 will be provided to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to confirm work authorization.
TFC does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of any employment Visa.
