TRAFFIC ALERT
Lane Closures
- July 20 – July 22: (Monday – Wednesday) The westbound lane of 16th Street along the south side of Garage E, between Colorado and Lavaca Streets, will be closed for utility construction. All west bound traffic should use 17th Street. (24/7 Closure)
- July 23 – August 22: The eastbound lane of 16th Street between Colorado and Lavaca Streets will be closed for utility construction. All east bound traffic should use 17th Street. (24/7 Closure)
- August 22: (Saturday) A total street closure (both west and eastbound lanes) of 16th Street between Colorado and Lavaca Streets will be closed for repaving. (24/7)
ONGOING CLOSURE
W 10th Street / Between Brazos and San Jacinto - Lane Closed. From June 8 to July 31, 2026, only one westbound lane will be open to traffic. The sidewalks, parking spaces and the north lane of this block will be closed for construction on the Rusk Building.
Construction Updates | Capitol Complex | William B. Travis Building renovations
The main lobby of the Travis building has partially reopened to tenants and the public. Interior renovations of the lobby and conference rooms will continue. Please be respectful of construction areas and for your safety avoid closed areas in the building.

TFC Conference services is pleased to announce Wi-Fi is now available in all shared conference rooms in the George HW Bush Building. A Wi-Fi password generator has been installed in each room accessible from the AV touch panel at the podium. If you have any questions or need support, please contact TFC Conference Room Services AV Team located in GHWB 4.102 or via email at bmconf@tfc.texas.gov.

Conference Services Team
Stationed in the Barbara Jordan Building room 2.015, the Conference Services team manages all TFC reservable meeting spaces across the agency's portfolio. They oversee the reservation system and support TFC-owned specialty systems, including A/V equipment, networks, monitors, and projectors. In addition to direct support for meetings and events, the team trains tenant agencies to use these systems, empowering them to independently manage their events while ensuring technical success.
